Lemur leaf frog is a species of frog belonging to the family Hylidae, occurring in Costa Rica, Colombia, and Panama. The species is nocturnal.

    Color Color varies from day to night; mainly bright green during the day when resting speckled with small brown dots; yellow hands, feet and sides with white underside; eyes are surrounded by a thick black line; upper parts turns brown when active at night with eyes turning dark gray
    Distribution Costa Rica, northern Colombia  and Panama
    Habitat Montane primary forests with sloping areas and in humid lowlands at an elevation of 440 to 1,600 meters above sea level
    Diet Mainly insects
    Breeding Season Rainy season
    Mode of Reproduction Oviparous (egg laying)
    Clutch Size 15 to 30 eggs
    Incubation Period Around 1 week
    Metamorphosis Period 3 to 5 months
